to have and to help

I am admittedly an idealist. But it seems to me that if the Haves of our nation dug into our own pockets, and of our own volition, helped the Have-Nots, maybe we wouldn’t need any government ‘stimulus’. Or at the least, we might not have this cloud of desperation, hopelessness and rage hanging low over us, as it seems to be lately. [Oh, and by the way, the Haves outnumber the Have-Nots. Really.]

Case in point, here.  I also like this practical business idea, too.

If we could love our enemies, and our neighbors even, as ourselves. If the Church could step out from behind the denominational/social/economic/racial/party lines. IF. If. If. If. If. Sometimes the smallest step seems too much to ask.

Told you I was an idealist.

    WELL SAID!!! Dan & I talk about this very thing often! Thanks for the link of the article. If we just had MORE of that, well, things would be very different.
