five years

May 25th was our fifth anniversary.  Seems like it’s been longer than that.  I’ve known Michael over half of my lifetime.  I can truly say that I can’t imagine being a wife to anybody else!  We laughed over dinner about how this was the year that we were supposed to start having kids.  Funny how plans change and your life pans out.  I’m learning to make plans in pencil.

We have our vows framed on our bedroom wall.  I’m reminded almost daily of what I promised him.  And what he promised me.  I love that.  I love him.  Thanks, Michael, for picking the dorky girl who sat in front of you in class and tried her hand at flirting.  I was awful…but it must have worked!
