Happy Birthday, Rhys! I cannot believe you are two years old already. Two years ago today…..well, I’ll spare our readers the details. You have brought your Daddy and I SO much joy through your sparkling eyes, big heart, and toothy-grinned playfulness! You truly live up to your name: enthusiastic. Our little babbling brook. Our meadow.
I am so blessed to be able to see the world again through a child’s wide eyes, to know what the real pleasures of life are, and to walk each day with you. You are a precious gift to us, and your Daddy and I thank God every night for you. You were THE best surprise, ever. You undo us. So here’s to you, tootie. Lord, help us to raise her as You would: to love You and serve others happily, with unwavering faith, with unquestioning obedience and trust in You: always, as a child, with a full heart.

i remember…two years ago..announcing to my class of third and fourth graders, that rhysie was born…her afghanistan birth announcement!!!!..happy birthday rhysie!
The Lord is good and Rhys is certainly a blessing from Him…she reminds me of you, Lindsay, when you were two…such precious times. I, too, can sometimes see through the eyes of our two year old little granddaughter.
